First Steps in Curl Budget

Now that you've connected your bank, here's how to make the most of Curl Budget.

Understanding the Main Screen

When you open Curl Budget, you'll see your recent transactions organized by date. Each transaction shows:

• Merchant name - Where you spent money
• Amount - How much you spent (negative) or received (positive)
• Category - What type of spending it is

Viewing Transactions

Tap any transaction to see more details:

• Full merchant name
• Date and time
• Account it came from
• Category (which you can change)

Categories

Curl Budget automatically categorizes your transactions using AI. Common categories include:

• Food & Dining
• Shopping
• Transportation
• Entertainment
• Bills & Utilities

You can change a category by tapping on a transaction and selecting a new category.
