- Contains accounts, transactions, budgets
- Can have multiple members
- Keeps data separate from personal finances
Roles
Members have different roles:
- Owner - Full control, can delete workspace
- Member - Can add and edit data
- Viewer - Can see but not modify
Invitations
Invite others to join:
- Send email invitations
- Assign roles during invite
- Manage pending invitations
Activity Tracking
The activity log shows:
- Who made changes
- What was changed
- When it happened

Privacy and Control
What's Shared
In a shared workspace:
- Transactions from connected accounts
- Categories and tags
- Budgets and reports
- Activity history
What's Not Shared
Personal data stays private:
- Your Curl Budget login
- Other workspaces you belong to
- Accounts connected to other workspaces
- Your subscription status
Leaving a Workspace
You can leave any workspace you've joined:
- Your transactions remain (you added them)
- You lose access to the workspace
- Your connected accounts disconnect from it
Multiple Workspaces
Personal + Shared
A common setup:
- Personal workspace - Just your individual finances
- Family workspace - Shared with partner/family
Switching Between
Switch workspaces easily:
- Tap the workspace name
- Select a different workspace
- All data updates to that context
Account Connections
An account can connect to:
- One workspace at a time
- OR multiple workspaces (you choose)
This lets you:
- Keep some accounts personal
- Share others
- Maintain privacy where needed
Subscription Considerations
Who Pays?
Each workspace needs an active subscription:
- The workspace owner's subscription covers the workspace
- Members don't need their own subscriptions to access shared workspaces
- See Subscription for details
Family Sharing
If you use Apple Family Sharing:
- One subscription can cover family members
- See Family Sharing
