Passive Monitoring

Don't have to actively check:

  • Important events come to you

  • Never miss critical alerts

Peace of Mind

Trust that you'll be notified:

  • Set up once, stay informed
  • Focus on other things
  • Curl Budget watches for you

Managing Notification Overload

Too Many Notifications?

If you're getting too many alerts:

  1. Review which types you receive
  2. Switch high-volume types to digest
  3. Disable less important alerts
  4. Adjust thresholds to reduce triggers

Finding the Right Balance

Common configurations:

Minimal:

  • Account issues: Immediate
  • Everything else: Disabled or Digest

Moderate:

  • Account issues: Immediate
  • Budget alerts: Immediate
  • Transactions: Digest
  • Duplicates: Digest

Comprehensive:

  • Most things: Immediate
  • Only truly low-priority items: Digest or Disabled

Per-Category Control

Fine-tune transaction notifications:

  • All transactions: May be too many
  • Specific categories only: More targeted
  • Large transactions only: Highlights unusual
